For her Spring 2016 campaign, designer Stella McCartney partnered with artist Petra Cortright to create a 30-second video entitled “Color Block,” which is part of the larger series “Good Energy.” Premiering below, the video depicts Cortright wearing the label’s dreamy Amiel Dress and holding the Cassie Dress to create a stop motion visual. A purely electronic soundtrack created by Ceephax Acid Crew plays in the background while Cortright drapes and twirls with both dresses, allowing each cut to display the garments’ fluidities.
“This new series of videos marks almost two years that I’ve been working with Stella McCartney,” Cortright says. “I’ve had the most fun yet with the inspiring SS16 line. The more I work with Stella, the more confident I become.”
