First Dibs: Gucci Fall/Winter 2016 Look 53

Gucci isn’t on the see-now, buy-now bandwagon, but if we could summon our magical sartorial powers, look 53 of the brand’s fall collection would be in our closets ready to be trotted out for the weekend. Alessandro Michele serves up the quintessential, ’70s-cut swirly hothouse flower-patterned, psychedelic-meets-secretary pussybow-necked frock, a pulled-together item that looks as good dancing on a tabletop as in the office. The furry, emerald, and orange shag coat would be a chic cover for a cool spring night or a luxe blanket for highly air-conditioned environments. Paired with red tights, gold cha cha sandals, and Michele’s signature oversized, geek chic frames, the classic monogram “GG” belt takes on a vintage swagger. We want it all, and the Amalfi coast vacation it would be perfect for, too. We’re calling first dibs.
