Kristen Schaal

Kristen Schaal worked the New York stand-up circuit for seven years before breaking out as the obsessed fan-turned-stalker on HBO’s cult hit Flight of the Conchords. The 33-year-old Colorado native is currently a voice on Bob’s Burgers (Fox) and will appear alongside Ashley Greene, Olivia Wilde, and Hugh Jackman in Jim Field Smith’s upcoming political satire Butter.

You wrote a book with your boyfriend, The Sexy Book of Sexy Sex. What’s the most common piece of sex advice people ask you about?
People don’t approach me for sex advice. They must be too intimidated after reading the book.
You grew up on a cattle farm in Colorado. What was the strangest experience you had there?
My dog had a dead chicken tied around his neck. It was to teach him to stop killing them. But it didn’t stop him from affectionately greeting me when I got off the school bus. Decomposing chicken on a favorite dog will leave a mark on a 6-year-old.
