In 1965 Stephen Shore was a senior in high school at Columbia grammar on the upper West Side when he stopped going to school. To say that he fell in with the wrong crowd is putting it mildly; Shore fell in with the Warhol crowd and quickly became the unofficial archivist at the already world-famous Factory.
