Last night, stars and supporters gathered at the Walter Reade Theater for the New York premiere of Arbitrage, featuring Richard Gere, Brit Marling, and Susan Sarandon. The film—a suspense thriller—stars Richard Gere as a hedge fund magnate whose scheming ways are about to backfire. Arbitrage is the first feature from writer/director Nicholas Jarecki.
It was a very civilized affair—the men were wearing Brioni and, after the film, guests moved to Monkey Bar for some Patron cocktails.
Among the guests were Vanity Fair editor-turned-actor Graydon Carter, photographer Bruce Weber, singer Harry Belafonte, actors Zac Efron and Chris Noth, and designer Todd Oldham.
