This weekend, Opening Ceremony made it uptown, launching with a number of boutiques in the ground floor of the Ace Hotel. The SoHo boutique celebrated with dinner for 100, and a concert by the Dirty Projectors later on for many, many more. The buzz was that Solange Knowles was performing (beyond her announced DJ set) and there might just be a Beyonce sighting. And so secrets go during New York Fashion Week... proliferated (judging by the crowd outside begging for a pink wristband) and un-delivered-upon.
