What better way to celebrate Bastille Day—France's Independence Day, which commemorates the storming of the Bastille fortress by revolutionaries in 1789—than with a little liberté, égalite, and fraternité poolside on the roof of Soho House? At Lacoste's bash on Sunday, a host of Francophiles did just that—and went swimming with Lacoste's inflatable alligators, played a game or two of pétanque, ate crêpes, and chilled out to sets by DJ Japanster and our very own Franco-American pal, Sydney Wayser. The waitresses wore berets; the members and guests wore smiles.
