Interview & Andy Warhol Museum present 'San Diego Surf'

Interview Magazine and The Andy Warhol Musuem paid homage to their founder and raison d'etre, respectively, at The Standard Miami on Thursday night, lining up with luxury labels Perrier® Sparkling Mineral Water, Belvedere, Maybach, and artnet to screen a never-before-seen Andy Warhol film, "San Diego Surf." The piece was introduced by a speech from the Director of the Andy Warhol Museum, Eric Shiner, and was screened alongside a multimedia installation by artnet. But guests like Joseph Altuzarra, Eddie Borgo, Harley Viera Newton, Jefferson Hack, and Dalia Oberlander received far more than they expected when an Andy Warhol flash mob broke out to the sounds of Lou Reed's "Walk on the Wild Side." Chelsea Leyland, Maryna Lynchuk, and Aurel Schmidt looked on in shock and pleasure as the bewigged, Wayfarer-sporting mobsters began to assemble. "Are we meant to join in?" chimed Leyland, leaning in towards Nate Lowman, ever on the lookout for a good dance-party. DJ Wolf supplied said party at the turntables, while guests sipped Belvedere cocktails and Perrier.
