Non-profit cultural space Ballroom Marfa, Children's foundation Art of Elysium, Gilt Groupe, and Interview hosted a Halloween weekend as far from the traffic as possible—in Donald Judd's West Texas shrine to Minimalism (cum site of No Country For Old Men). The weekend's climax came in the form of a masquerade, with a shockingly synchronized performance by Heloise and the Savoir Faire, DJ set by Elijah Wood, andmasks by designers like Catherine Malandrino and Rodarte. We caught the night's wilder masks, among them Art of Elyisum founder Jennifer Howell's winged inspiration, and some more local takes... The shots came courtesy the Fujifilm Instax Mini 7S instant camera.
