Dior Beauty and The Cinema Society hosted an intimate and well-stocked screening of Jason Reitman's Young Adult at the Tribeca Grand Hotel this past Friday. Penned by Diablo Cody, the film centers on a soon-to-be-passé (and perma-drunk) young adult fiction writer, played by Charlize Theron. Theron was no longer in character at the cozy screening room of the Tribeca Grand: a flirtacious, gauzy Dior frock was a far cry from her character's shopping-mall sartorial, and a charming look for the star. After introducing the film to guests, Theron joined Jason Reitman, Diablo Cody, co-stars Patton Oswalt and Elizabeth Reaser, and Cinema Society founder Andrew Saffir for drinks and dancing at The Double Seven. They were joined by a good deal of friends and weekend warriors: Courtney Love, Jeremy Renner, Carolyn Murphy, Meredith Ostrom, Jackie Astier, James Marsden, Bob Balaban, Tony Danza, Elettra Wiedemann, and Dior Beauty's Dianne Vavra were among those sipping Grey Goose cocktails and champagne in the comfortably crowded room. Tyson Ballou chatted with new friends over drinks and hor d'ouevres-cum-dinner and Ostrom and pals took to the dance floor. The fete soon became an all-out celebration: the laughter was loud, the glasses were full, and the conversation was sparkling.
