Derek Lam Store Opening
Derek Lam's new boutique in the once unthinkably south regions of SoHo was designed by SANAA, who also designed the New Museum in the once unthinkable Bowery. Indeed, it was a night of firsts, and boudaries crossed. Rihanna wore her first Derek Lam ensemble and sported a daringly high dyed coiffe, and Anna Wintour set foot in Chinatown.
