Last night, in the newly contemporary art-decorated restaurant at Soho House, friends raised a Moët toast to the release of Interview Editor-at-Large Christopher Bollen's first novel, Lightning People (Soft Skull). Bollen's novel is about a young, self-destructive Manhattan troupe that imagines itself at the center of the Earth—and while the author was surrounded by a sea of friends from Manhattan, his center table was filled with family from Ohio. Belvedere Red provided signature cocktails, while Bollen provided some signatures of his own.
