Art of Elysium Benefit

Antwan Duncan

In mythology Elysium is the resting place of the heroes, but at the benefit for Art of Elysium, resting wasn't an option. The occasion: the LA-based charity opened a branch in New York. Its mission is to encourage entertainment people to get on the case for kids battling serious medical conditions, and what better way than to get their own famous children to panhandle? The benefit was hosted by second-generation bold-facers Bee Shaffer and Sara Moonves, as well as Joy Bryant and Nicole Vecchiarelli, at the newly renovated ballroom at the Jane Hotel. Performer Santigold and DJ Matt Creed stuck to their guns; the former wore a gold blazer, the latter a "Save Beatrice" T-shirt.
