Last night, Rob Pruitt hosted the first ever Art Awards at the Guggenheim Museum. Conceived as a performance-based event and modeled after Hollywood ceremonies, awards were handed out in nine categories, with the Delusional Downtown Divas acting as the Masters of Ceremonies and Glenn O'Brien took on the role of Announcer. A musical interlude was provided by the Fiery Furnaces, who composed original songs for the occasion.
