
After a six year hiatus, the Libertines are scheduled to to take the stage the UK's Reading and Leeds Festival in August. Last year, when asked to contemplate a possible reunion with songwriting partner Carl Barat, Libertines frontman Pete Doherty said: "I wouldn't really want to, but you've got to pay the bills. I'll put an advert in the NME: 'Carlos lookalike required.'" Of course, sources are estimating a 1.5 million pound payday for the appearance–so, a lot of bills paid.
