The once-endangered Brooklyn Pool Party made its return this weekend in a new location: the waterfront of East River State Park. Deerhoof and Xiu Xiu kicked off the series with a performance of Joy Division's Unknown Pleasures, with support from Why? (bottom right), Pictureplane, and Fang Island. In addition to the usual suspects, like Agyness Deyn and Alexa Chung (bottom left), Senator Chuck Schumer (top) came out to show his support for what has become a summer tradition in New York.
