The trailer for Twelve, Joel Schumacher's adaptation of Nick McDonnell's 2003 novel about high school kids partying on the Upper East Side, was released today. With Chace Crawford in the lead role, it's difficult not to confuse the clip with an R-rated version of Gossip Girl, though Kiefer Sutherland's horror movie-esque voiceover is quite different from that of Constance Billard's cheerfully bitchy chronicler. Of course, with Emma Roberts as a drug dealer's innocent love interest and 50 Cent as a supplier, the movie clearly stands to generate interest among the WB set.
