With spring upon us, it's time to think back to the colder months of last year, when this season's looks first hit the runways. Kayleen McAdams has done red carpet makeup for people like Olivia Wilde, Sofia Vergara, Amy Poehler, and Lily Collins. We asked her to choose her favorite warm weather trends: "I loved the white eyeliner and mauve shadow at the Donna Karan show [left]. The strong, imperfect swipe of color was really beautiful and can be done in lots of great colors. Check out Shu Umera's pots of eyeliner–they have gorgeous fun colors for summer." As for lips? "There is always a fun strong color for lips for summer.  Last year it was orangey reds, this year we have been seeing fuschia lips [right: Marc by Marc Jacobs Spring 2010].  If you pick the right color for yourself, the lipstick can really bring out the color of your eyes and a glow in your skin.  Keep the rest of the face minimal, though. A good one to try: Cover Girl's Outlast lipstain in #410. Fill in the lips and then add a touch of matching gloss for a bit of moisture."
