For me, attending the Sex and the City II premiere would be the equivalent of a die-hard baseball fan attending the World Series. Unfortunately, I spent the unveiling on a delayed flight. So, like the vast majority of the population, I had to content myself with the photos. Style-wise, the girls stuck to looks that would have done their respective characters proud (the distinction between the actresses and HBO's single gals gets blurrier and blurrier each day). Sarah Jessica Parker worked for an unusual goddess look, while Kristin Davis, with her bright pink dress, pink lips, and Hepburn-esque updo, chose a classically girly look. Cynthia Nixon went Millennium glam–simple black, loose waves, light hair, glowing skin—as she did two years ago for the premiere of the first SATC movie, and Kim Cattrall vamped it up with red lips, tousled hair, and eye-catching silver detailing on her gold dress. Here's to not fixing what isn't broken.
