Men Cozy Up to Fur

LODEN DAGER, THOM BROWNE

Kanye West notwithstanding, the fur-wearing population has long been a girl's club. But, now that the economy's sunk, who wants to shell out for coal heating when they can invest in a mink? The Fall 2010 runways were full of guys getting cozy. At Michael Kors, fur lined hoods and splayed along the model's back. Loden Dager offered an understated, fur-lined trench. Robert Geller's puffy shearling vests added height and texture without being over-the-top. Daintier was Thom Browne, who dangled raccoon tails under and below the fringe of his sweater dresses for men. Finally, at Phillip Lim, fur was could be found in tufts around sleeves and on a tawny, knee-length belted vest.
