Fall Growth

As fashion falters back to the 80s, so do our brows. Brooke Shields must be ecstatic!

We asked Sue Ellen, brow expert of the Pierre Michel Salon in New York, told us that, because fall usuall requires the hair to be a shade darker, she "[Follows] that trend with the eyebrows and color them a shade darker, also." Additionally, as the weather cools, the brows should bulk up. In the fall, they should be "fuller and bushier" as well as "more romantic, meaning less arched."

Besides being seasonally appropriate, these steps  will "help to focus the attention more on the face and to bring out the eyes." To get the look, let the brows grow in in order to fill underneath, so you can obtain a straight line. For those who have overplucked–or the simply impatient–try the eyebrow extender from Talika.
