Last night's warm weather brought out the socials, editors and designers uptown for a cocktail reception at Prada's Madison Avenue shop, where a percentage of sales benefitted New Yorkers For Children. We caught up with Tinsley Mortimer, a longtime affiliate of New Yorkers For Children, whose fuschia Fabiola Arias mini-dress seemed primed to stir excitment for a colorful change of season. While Mortimer said she had spent last summer in Europe, she's happy to stay in New York this time around—expect to be seeing her all over Southampton (if not on TV). She's stocked up on rompers from Intermix and is "into anything super short" this season, which perfectly reflected the short shorts seen on Prada's runway. "They always make amazing shoes," Mortimer said of the brand. She was on the prowl for a new pair of black heels and, in fact, fell in love with a strappy pair straight of the store's shelves that night.
