Lipps Service: To Sundance and Back
In our Friday feature, Lipps Service, One Model Management owner Scott Lipps shares photos from his fabulous life with us once a week, right here. This week, Scott’s weeklong prep for the big gig with Courtney Love and Hole at Sundance, after a few months’ hiatus, was well worth the wait. Scott headed to Utah, sans puffy jacket, after one last day of pics in New York with Cobra Starship’s Gabe—and arrived at the Sundance Film Festival to find weather that was actually not as cold as New York is now! Of course, at Sundance he ran into tons of stars, from Lil Jon to Mariel Hemingway, James Franco, Danny Masterson, and Jack Huston. Most of Hollywood was there—along with local pals Nur Khan, The Smile’s Carlos Quirarte and Matt Kliegman, and Billy Farrell Agency’s David X. Prutting completed the picture. Scott was locked up in a big log cabin for a few days, working on the tunes, and then hit the Star Bar on Monday to a packed audience, where he and his Hole bandmates tore it up. (Video evidence: intact.) Afterward, he hit up a few more bands then headed back to New York—after all, it’s almost time for Fashion Week…
