Lipps Service: After Sandy
In our Friday feature, Lipps Service, One Model Management owner Scott Lipps shares photos from his fabulous life with us once a week, right here. This week, Scott would like to first beg your pardon for his absence last week—he’s been a bit busy in New York, between not having power thanks to Sandy and this week’s Nor’easter. What an insane two weeks—but he’s still here and snapping way for you (nearly!) every week. Let’s catch up! Scott stopped by Milk Studios to take part in Escape for Good, to raise money for charity with Carola Remer and Chloe Norgaard representing Team One. Then Interview and One Management teamed up to throw a Halloween bash at Abe and Arthur’s—to our knowledge, one of the only parties before or after Sandy to go on as planned. It was a Who’s Who of fashion in almost completely unrecognizable outfits—Scott came as James Bond (of course) and girlfriend Erin Cullison as Audrey Hepburn. Andrej Pejic, Cory Kennedy, Sean Avery, and a host of other notable New Yorkers and models joined in on the fun. Then, a move to a hotel and one of the worst natural disasters New York has seen in a lifetime—all of our hearts go out to those still in need. Scott shacked up with no power and then eventually moved uptown, where he ran into Poppy Delevingne, Erin Fetherston, Johan Lindeberg, Mario Sorrenti, Emma Watson and many more at the Carlyle—for a moment, it seemed like all of downtown had headed up. Scott stopped by a regain-power party the Smile boys, Matt and Carlos, threw; then back to work, after nearly 10 days without power. He even missed the Victoria’s Secret show this year, thanks to another crazy storm. We don’t live in New York for the weather!
