When the original TRON was released in 1982, its vision of the future consisted of Jeff Bridges running around throwing illuminated Frisbees while sporting neon spandex. Almost three decades later, a new iteration of the classic sci-fi adventure, Disney’s TRON: Legacy, is set to hit theaters this December, in which director Joseph Kosinski has given his “players” Garrett Hedlund, Olivia Wilde, and veteran Bridges a much more sophisticated sense of style. To celebrate the TRON reboot, Disney commissioned renowned art directors Doug Lloyd, Lee Swillingham, as well as Interview’s editorial director, Fabien Baron, to re-interpret the film’s futuristic edge for a set of limited edition T-shirts.
