Today is living legend Dolly Parton's 63rd birthday. With twenty-five number one singles, forty-one top ten country albums, the establishment of rural Tennessee amusement park Dollywood, a cloned-sheep namesake, and starring roles in 9 to 5, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, and Steel Magnolias under her (enviably tiny) belt, she has long been known as the Queen of Country Music. Of her signature look, she once said, "It takes a lot of money to look this cheap," but we know that she's priceless. In the 1974 video above, Dolly performs her signature hit, "Jolene," in which she begs you not to take her man (as if that were possible). Here's to aging the Dolly way!
