Heath Ledger/Modest Mouse Collaboration Released

Staff   08/04/2009 03:33 PM

In January 2007, upset by the ongoing illegal whale hunting taking place off the coast of Austraila, Heath Ledger approached Modest Mouse's Issac Brock with an idea for a video to accompany the band's then-unreleased, somewhat nautically-themed single, "King Rat." Following his death, the project, the details of which were outlined almost entirely by the late actor, was completed by the Masses, a film and music company in which he was a partner. The clip–well, the last half anyway–is not for the faint of heart. Or those who enjoy gingerbread men.
